Oklahoma’s Governor Brad Henry has signed a sweeping immigration reform bill, House Bill 1804, that its sponsor believes will go a long way in dealing with the illegal alien problem in the state.

House Bill 1804 was passed by overwhelming majorities in both the House and Senate of the Oklahoma Legislature. The measure’s sponsor, State Representative Randy Terrill, says the bill has four main topical areas: it deals with identity theft; it terminates public assistance benefits to illegals; it empowers state and local police to enforce federal immigration laws; and it punishes employers who knowingly hire illegal aliens.

Satan Arrives At Church

People were in their pews talking at church. Suddenly, Satan appeared at the front of the church.

Everyone started screaming and running for the front entrance, trampling each other in a frantic effort to get away from evil incarnate.

Soon everyone had exited the church except for one elderly gentleman who sat calmly in his pew without moving, seeming oblivious to the fact that God’s ultimate enemy was in his presence.

So Satan walked up to the old man and said, “Don’t you know who I am?”

The man replied, “Yep, sure do.”

Are You Unhappy?

“The other day I was reading Newsweek magazine and came across some poll data I found rather hard to believe.  It must be true given the source, right?

The Newsweek poll alleges that 67 percent of Americans are unhappy with the direction the country is headed and 69 percent of the country is unhappy with the performance of the president.  In essence 2/3s of the citizenry just aren’t happy and want a change.

Define Happy

So being the knuckle dragger I am, I started thinking, ”What we are so unhappy about?”

Urine Test

Urine test

“Like a lot of folks in this state I have a job. I work, they pay me. I
pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In
order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test,
with which I have no problem.

What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people
who don’t have to pass a urine test. Shouldn’t one have to pass a urine
test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for
them??
